Imasara Shirou! is a Japanese variety show on Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) featuring Junichi Okada and Ryuji Akiyama. The show explores topics that people feel they “should already know,” but may not fully understand. Through hands-on experiences, interviews with experts, and on-location visits, the hosts learn about a wide range of subjects—from pop culture and history to everyday trends and hidden knowledge. It focuses on “useful but not taught in school” information, delivered in an entertaining mix of humor and genuine curiosity. The hosts often joke around while also seriously engaging with the topic, making the learning process fun and accessible.
