Born in Kyoto in 1992, she joined the group in 2009 as part of Team K after multiple audition attempts. Known for her serious personality and leadership, she became one of AKB48’s key members during its peak years and was later appointed General Manager of the AKB48 Group in 2015, succeeding Takahashi Minami. She also participated in the subunit Not yet. After graduating from AKB48 in 2021, she continued her career in acting and television.
