Ayako Uemura is a Japanese former idol, known as a 2nd generation member of AKB48. She joined the group in 2006 during its early expansion period and was mainly active in theater performances, contributing to AKB48’s growth as it gradually increased in popularity. As part of Team K, she helped shape the group’s early stage presence, though she did not receive significant media exposure or frequent senbatsu selections. She graduated in 2007 after a relatively short time with the group. Following her departure, she left the entertainment industry, and little public information is available about her later activities.
